COVID-19 RESPONSE PLAN
1ST JANUARY 2023
The most important focus of Northbourne Park Association Inc (NPA) is the health and wellbeing of Northbourne residents and the people who visit the village. With this in mind, NPA is implementing the following practices and protocols for all users of the Community Centre that hopefully will minimise the risk of contact virus infection and person to person transmission.
· Discouraging person to person contact greetings.
· Staff undertaking strict hand washing and sanitising procedures.
· Staff remaining away from NPA if they feel unwell.
· There are no current restrictions on our Contractors to wear masks.
· All visitors to the Community Centre to sanitise on arrival. Masks are provided for residents and visitors, should they wish to wear one.
There are still Social Distancing in place within the Community Centre, however this is very relaxed and residents and visitors may carry out their activities as they wish.
Anyone who is unwell, is a high risk to COVID-19, has been in close contact with a confirmed case in the last 14 days, is asked to please consider your fellow residents and staff by refraining from using the Community Centre or personally interacting with others.
As always, the health and safety of our residents and their families remain our main concern. We will continue to closely follow the updates and recommendations from the Government and World Health Organisation in relation to COVID-19 and will update residents and staff with any changes via our notice board, letter drops social media and staff notices.
Staff will immediately report any issues considered important with respect to minimising transmission of COVID-19 into or within the village.
Staff and residents are referred to the ABC as the Government designated emergency information channel as the most reliable source of information on COVID-19 together with publications on the Tasmanian Department of Health web site.
