The dwelling at 40 George Street was purchased and demolished to make way for the new entrance into the Village, Peggy Parade.
Residential Agreements
There are two agreements through which accommodation at Northbourne can be arranged. All agreements ensure residents have access to all the grounds and Community Centre.
RENTAL
One bedroom units (co-joined)
$1500 non-refundable Administration Fee
LEASE
Two Bedroom villas
Residents purchase a lease for a maximum of 49 years
Purchase price is at market value
Lease is on-sold when resident terminates agreement
Upon lease termination, residents receive a percentage of original purchase price plus half the difference between the purchase and sale price
Residents pay for refurbishment costs upon leaving
